We created this slimline briefcase to fit into our busy working lives. After searching high and low for a high-quality laptop bag that wasn’t plastered with logos and didn’t cost the earth, we decided to create our own leather bag and Linjer was born. We’re proud to say it’s now our bestselling bag.
Our full-grain leather is custom vegetable-tanned in Turkey and it reveals its unique colouring during a 40 day process. Each piece of smooth leather develops a unique patina with a soft sheen and beautiful depth of colour.
Larger laptop bags can be cumbersome, so we made our bag smaller yet sturdier to hold a 15” laptop. We use unfussy silver hardware and Japanese YKK zippers - specifically their premium line Excella, for a streamlined zipping experience.
Inside we’ve made sure there are enough compartments for you to organize your belongings but outside we’ve removed any unnecessary clutter, leaving just an accessible pocket for you to stash your phone, passport or metro card as needed.
We’ve stripped the bag down to showcase the natural beauty of the leather and create a minimalist design object that lives up to the Linjer name and more importantly serves its function: to carry your laptop.
