We are supporting Malala Fund this International Women's Day!
International Women's day is on March 8, and we are honouring this day by donating all profits on the Linjer webshop from March 7, 8 and 9 to Malala Fund in support of girls' education.
Why Malala Fund?
In many parts of the developing world, girls face considerable barriers to completing secondary education, such as social/cultural norms, costs of schooling, and quality of schools and teachers.
Educating girls is a no-brainer investment: it's been proven over and over that educating girls creates stronger economies, healthier communities and a safer world.
Malala Fund, created by Malala Yousafzai and her father Ziauddin, supports girls' education through:
- supporting community advocates and activists around the world
- advocacy at the local, national and international level for more resources and policy changes
- amplifying the voices of and connecting community advocates and activists
Malala Fund currently has programmes in Afghanistan, Brazil, Ethiopia, India, Lebanon, Nigeria, Pakistan, Turkey.
We are excited to support their work!
