Handsome minimalist design, high quality

I'm happy with my Oslo watch, and it's good value, especially at the sale price. I was attracted by the clean minimalism: no second hand, no day/date, no branding, no other clutter. It's the opposite of blingy and busy. That's why I chose it over the similar Sternglas NAOS. The brown band is made of buttery leather, which feels soft and flexible. (I hope it's durable, as a replacement band costs a third the price of the whole watch!) The minute hand advances silently in increments of 9-10 seconds; no ticking. With its thin bezels and the large white fact, the Oslo looks bigger than I expected on my small (6") wrist, and it's not especially light or thin. I'd call it substantial rather than heavy, but if there were a smaller version for men, I'd prefer it. Build and finish appears to be of high quality. The watch looks pricier than it is. Assuming the band holds up, I hope to be wearing this watch for a long time.

BEAUTIFUL

everytime the watch face catches the light, I actually pause for a second and get completely distracted from what I'm doing. The hands are so immaculately detailed and polished, and the domed glass is subtle but noticed. Just gorgeous.
