This week, we spoke with Leonardo, our quality inspector in Italy who has decades of experience working in quality assurance for luxury brands. Leonardo lives near Florence and conducts on-site inspections at Linjer's suppliers. We asked him about what his work entails, the craziest things he's seen, and deception in Italian manufacturing.
In designing our watch collection, we wanted to create beautiful and long-lasting watches without the usual inflated prices of other luxury brands.
Read the story of how we designed our watches, including the inspiration for the design and the prototyping process.
We carry our wallets with us almost everywhere we go -- but for a lot of men, our wallets are more like bricks than functional accessories.
Bulky wallets can be really detrimental to our health and also weigh us down mentally. In this post, we'll talk about why you need to ban bulky wallets forever.
You may have noticed that our leather looks quite different from most leather out there. (And if you've ordered one of our products, you've probably noticed that our leather feels very different too!)
There's a simple reason for this: our leather is made differently from most leather out there. Our leather is vegetable-tanned, which means it's been tanned in the traditional way using plant extracts and tannins from tree bark. Only 10% of world leather production is vegetable-tanned; most leather is "chrome-tanned" in a process that uses chromium salts.
