Best Leather Briefcase, according to The Wirecutter

The Soft Briefcase, Mocha

The Soft Briefcase is loved by our customers and by menswear experts alike -- even garnering the selection as The Wirecutter's Favorite Leather Briefcase. (The people at The Wirecutter are real product geeks who test products extensively before making any recommendations.)

The reality is that luxury brands increasingly use cheaper, lower-quality leather, while their bags become ever more expensive.

At Linjer, we are adamant on using the best materials we can find, and avoiding the "luxury markup" that inflates the prices of luxury bags to insane levels.

Each of our briefcases is crafted with full grain vegetable-tanned leather and YKK Excella zippers. They're made to last, and we provide a lifetime warranty to back that up.

Our briefcases also have a rare construction that eschews the piped seams present in almost all leather briefcases out there. This gives our briefcase a uniquely refined silhouette. (Fun fact: most manufacturers are actually not able to make our briefcases because the construction is too difficult!)

At a price of $489 -- with a lifetime warranty -- we're priced well below 'luxury' briefcases of inferior quality. And if you're looking for a briefcase of similar quality and construction, you'd be hard-pressed to find one for less than $2,800.
