What a journey it's been! After 18 months of prototyping and an unexpected $1 million Kickstarter campaign in July, our watches are finally in our warehouse and available for purchase.
When we first picked up our pencils 24 months ago, we had in mind to create watches that were elegant, versatile, and constructed from the best components -- and also not with the $800+ price tags of typical luxury watches of those specs.
Our two designs are inspired by a local landmark, the Oslo Opera House -- as reflected in the clean lines, carefully proportioned dials and lacquered varnish finish of the watches.
We've meticulously selected materials that make for long-lasting, durable watches. (There are way too many poorly-made fashion watches out there.)
Each Linjer watch is constructed with a Swiss Ronda movement, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and brushed 316L stainless steel casing. Our leather straps are crafted with full grain vegetable-tanned Italian leather, a really special material that develops a gorgeous patina over time.
We've partnered with an excellent factory that is as obsessive about details as we are. The result? Superbly crafted watches that are timeless in both aesthetic and construction.
